MOVIE LIFE - Xanadu: Part 1

This is one of my favourite musicals of all time.

  • It's Olivia Newton John!
  • Concept of 'Xanadu' and Greek mythological Muses
  • Chasing your dreams vs selling out.
  • Collaborations.
  • Costumes and Dancing
  • Cool 1980 Special effects and Electronic Music
  • Classic Gene Kelly on Wheels

Backstory

What happened?
Was in the toilet in my Kofu apartment in 16 July 2014 , where I decided to play some music from my mobile phone and out came classics and uplifting music, starting with John Meyer's No Such Thing, Dean Martin's Everybody Loves Somebody followed by Olivia Newton John's Xanadu. Immediately it stirred images from the film, tacky as it is, I loved the film very much. For so many reasons, the main of which was the music.

What did I do?
Decide to share my love and passion for the film and song by writing this blog entry. Hope everyone enjoys the music, and watch the film. It has a very inspirational back story!
